If I was a cop in one of these states I would give your a ticket if you put a front plate on a hot car. LOL

I was pulled over twice within about 2 weeks of each other, a few weeks ago.

Now, I don't condone fibbing to an officer, but..... I played the "dumb broad" role and gave a BS story about how I recently learned that it was the law, and I had a hide-a-way plate holder on order... but it was on back order. "I have no idea when I'll get it, sir."

I got at least one written warning, I don't recall if I got one from both.

My friend got pulled over, penalty ticket given, and his SS TOWED!!

My friend managed to take his SS out within 1 week from a good source, who hooked him up, otherwise he wont be seeing his Camaro for 2 months!!

I just ripped off that ugly front plate. Bumper is at body shop getting holes fixed and painted. Dealer should not put them on.

15 months with no front plate except when on a road/highway trip. Posting a while back (maybe last summer) stated that the TX highway patrol were going to crack down.

Does this still seem true? For those get ticketed, city cops or highway patrol?
