engine shut down

Any ideas why the engine shuts down after car warms up. fuel pump and thermostat have been changed. Please any ideas would be helpful.

Car fires up for about 5 seconds then dies

88 CAMARO BEEN SITTING FOR 3-4 YRS, REPLACED FUEL RELAY, FUEL FILTER AND ALL FUSES, IF I PUT A LITTLE GAS IN THE CARBURATOR THE CAR WILL START FOR ABOUT 5 SECONDS THEN DIE. PLEASE HELP WITH ANY SUGGESTIONS. THANK YOU

Your carb needs rebuilding dude....sitting that long all the o rings and gaskets, needle and seat, accelerator pump, and other vital carb parts are surely dried out and not usable. Buy a rebuild kit or take it off and take it to someone who can rebuild it for you.

In 88 it would have been a throtttle body injection or a TPI system, no carbs factory installed. Going by the spelling and info posted looks kind of like a troll.
