Tint & Black Matte Bowtie
Well I decided to get mine tinted over the weekend and do some matte black bowties. Tint is 35% all around (except the windshield) from Notorious Tintz in Livonia, MI. They are great if anybody in the Metro Detroit area is looking for window tinting or the like.
I'm wondering if 35% tint is going to be dark enough for me. I was expecting it to look a little darker looking from the outside looking in. Tint on the Camaro usually looks darker because of the small windows that don't let much light in. If I decide to get it done again I will try 20% on the rear window and keep the 35% on the sides. I do feel 35% is a good balance between great visibility out of the car day & night while still being reasonably dark from the outside. I doubt I will ever get hassled by the police with this tint either. I had 20% all around on my wife's car and was pulled over so I felt this would be safe. Here are some pics. The sun was shining right into the windshield so the tint looks a little lighter than normal in these pics.
