Best source to purchase new motor ?? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Want input on the best source for me to use to buy my new LSX 427 ? I want all top of the line parts, preferrably AFR heads. Going to run a KB 3.6 blower at 20+lbs boost. This thing needs to fart 1000 rwhp, 1200 on good gas. Thanks for any info.

I would contact Andy over at ADM Performance. He has already turned out some 1000 rwhp Camaros.

Could try Livernois Motorsports, I know for sure that they had a customers car that they had put a 419 stroker in and was tuning it at the C5 fest and they had it in the 10's. Check with Andy at www.livernoismotorsports.com and see what they have.

One of the magazines had an article in it about a month ago regarding Livernois Motorsports putting the 427 in a Camaro. They have done more than a few of them. The article pretty much had step by step instructions. I get both Super Chevy and Chevy High Performance, so it was probably one of those two.

Huck, I have absolutely no time to build my own motor. I have my hand in too many different things right now. It would take me a freekin year to build it on my own time. Would be fulfilling though !

I would say ADM. I have not read about to many people using MTI, whats up with that with them being so close to so many Camaro's?

(I gave up and got a GT500) 5/11/09 - order cancelled 5/27/09 - vehicle arrived at dealership for whoever bought it after me
