That's correct, you won't gain 30HP from a CAI alone. We've seen approximately 10-15 HP gains from just the CAI, the rest of the gains (15-20HP) are from the tune.

Just curious if there was creep in the IATs due to it being a billet MAF housing?

To my knowledge, there hasn't been any independent testing but a few members have run the tune only version with good results. I'm thinking in the 25+whp range.
