I wish there was more of a standard for comparing ring times, but there is no way to do that. Just remember...GM has confirmed that the old Z06 time was done from a standing start

F has their work cut out for them with their current body style and outdated suspension to stay in the game to make the body conform to the additional stresses they are trying to place on it with additional HP. The Ring? Really??? Theres no argument IMHO. They are locked into their archaic structure against the behemoth. Just sayin...but, the competition is going to great!

Could be said that the ZL1 needs all the tech (and the extra cost) to overcome it's bloated weight just to keep pace with the GT500.. just sayin'

2012 vs. 2013 GT500 is going to be an interesting comparo also. If a 580 horse ZL1 hits at 57,000, what if there's a 620 horse GT500 at 57,000? And then throw in the fact that it's pretty easy to get a 550 horse 2012 Track Pack GT500 at under 49k. Tough decisions IMO, not sure which way I'd lean.
