"RS" "SS" Rear Nameplate Part #s

On GMpartsdirect.com http://www.gmpartsdirect.com I was able to email them seeking the part number for the red "RS" nameplate on the rear trunk lid - I intend to use two of these on the hood cowl on-top of Dark Charcoal Metallic Spears ordered for RiderGraphix http://www.ridergraphix.com/2010_Cam...od_Spears.html.

Customer Service provided part # 92228473 list price of $15.25 each, their price $9.36 each - - I bought 4 (2 as back-up) and the entire order came to $50.39, shipping is expensive at $12.95. Order will be stuck in national backorder like most GM parts I assume due to restructuring.

For our SS trim members, I asked their Customer Service for your part numbers as well - note IF you order email them to confirm part #s again - I would not want to cause a ruckus by sharing bad info when I got it originally from them:

92228474 white "SS" rear compartment lid nameplate

92228475 red "SS" rear compartment lid nameplate

These are at the same prices as indicated above for the RS nameplate I ordered. Follow the link above and enter the part number to pull up the part - no picture is avaialble at the site and the description doesn't confirm version. I know I'm counting on GM Parts Direct to have the right part # but these guys have never let me down...

So the RiderGraphix spears will go on later in June, adding the "RS" nameplates when I get them... pictures will follow...

Thanks - I'll always try to think it through for all members as best I can. If its on our Camaros there has to be a GM Part # to request and try to get, though the newness and national backorder will require some patience...

UPDATE - gmpartsdirect.com has updated each search result by part # with a picture of the nameplate so you're sure of what you're ordering. They reached out to me after my post to indicate the update - way to go gampartsdirect.com for being proactive to earn our business... go to their website http://www.gmpartsdirect.com/, enter the part # to search.

Note that they carry the known Camaro Accessories so you can search for those by Part # as well as well, with discount pricing off GM List. I ordered the splash guards and trunk mat so far (also caught-up in national backorder) and will order other items from them for sure...

Sweet, I just ordered a set of SS badges as well, I ordered my Engine Cover from them 4 weeks ago and was shipped fast. There shipping is a bit pricey but overall price was not beatable by Camaro Scottys guy or anyonelse.

The 2 sided tape probably comes on the back of them already if not get 3M double sided emblem tape from the parts store.

Cool. I just ordered 2 "RS" badges, and the Splash Guards - that's the cheapest I've seen the Splash Guards, even with shipping cost.

Now how about the "CAMARO" badge that's on the side? It would be cool to get one of those, and put it on the dash passenger side.

email customerservice@gmpartsdirect.com & ask for the part number for the "Camaro" side nameplate and any other part you're seeking. I know they're visiting this thread but unsure if they'll capture questions and respond.

Please post the Part # when they get back to you.
