Do I need end links?

How’s it going guys, I just purchased the stage 1 suspension from Hurst, which is lowering springs with upgraded sway bars, my question is do I need upgraded end links or will the stockers suffice? And also what other issues/tips should I look for as this is the first vehicle I’ve ever lowered, and driven. Thanks in advance.

I'm going for a mostly handling build and I'm not worrying about upgrading the endlinks. I would grab some 1LE toe rods, and either a Z/28 or BMR UCA, AND, if you haven't upgraded the rear subframe bushings to solid, you should!

But as far as initial installation, I don’t need any upgraded parts to fit the new parts

The factory front and rear end-links/drop-links are fine for even the biggest, baddest sway bars out there...

I disagree - the Front End Links are the size of a Pencil - 3/8" in Diameter and about 12" long. This in a Heavy Car with Beefier SBs. That's why people need a Billet Endlink like ours that is much stronger.

I'm certainly no expert, but just because the factory links are weaker than those doesn't mean they aren't strong enough . I don't have much experience driving this car to its limits but I've never yet heard of a front (or rear) link bending or breaking, but then again what do I know

will the suffice, probably. But if you push this heavy pig, it will snap one of them. I have a tendency to break the rear endlinks. Look at upgrading them down the road if you don't now.

I have seen bent & broken Stock Links. Heck I've seen a couple of our Old Design (welded) break.

Also have seen bent & broken rear Trailing Arms & Toe Rods

If you push anything hard enough, it will break. But, yes, the fronts at minimum.

Nice... Well I guess that begs the question for the OP: how hard will the car be pushed?

I think I might just research some end links, since I’m gonna be changing things
