Tire brand match up? help!

I'm trying to find the right tires to put on my 1LE when it gets here. I won't be tracking the car...that I know of yet and I'm getting rid of the Goodyear F1's. So far, the only tires I've found that match are the Michelin PSS, 285/35/20 (fronts) and 315/35/20 (rear). I would like to get some tires that fit better on the back rims? I'm not sure about the 315's on the rear, but Michelin doesn't make a 305. Is there another brand of tires that have this match-up or could I go with the 295's on the back WITHOUT giving it that stretched look?

Thanks

I have tried to look at other threads on this subject...but some are confusing...and other seem to vear of the topic!!

Here a Pic of the P295 Michelin on the back of my car . There the smaller of the two P295 (101Y) that Michelin make.

The sidewalls dont look as stretched on the rims as the 285's. How does it handle? I was thinking that the 315's might track strange and pull in the ruts!

For me I love the way the car works but I not running a stock rear spring and I use a -.500 rear camber & -1.00 front camber set up on my car (DD) . I think you be just find with the Michelin PSS P285-35 20" front and one of the P295-35 20" in the rear, note (P295 101Y Michelin are a 1/2" narrower than the 105Y P295 Michelin) .

I would go with Michelin PSS, 285 front, 295 rear.

Won't 295 rear and 285 front set up induce some understeer without some suspension mods? Also, if you aren't tracking the car, what about the Michelin AS3s? Might work better in Montana.

I don't think the understeer will be that bad with this tire setup compared to the way I was going with the 315's. I thought about the AS3's too but, since it's not my DD and the price difference, just thought the PSS would be a better way to go.

I might have to take you up on that offer. I need to put a few miles on the car and that seems like a nice little drive...plus...you might change my mind and I'll end up tracking the car after it's all broke in!!
