I am pretty shure even a heavily modified car will run out of power long before it reaches 281mph.

Thats because you had no wind drag on the car.

You haven't even felt it pull...it's like a whole new animal above 4000 RPM...even stock.

You're not going to hurt the car letting it rev to the rev limiter. Holding it at the rev limiter is bad...holding anything at high RPM is bad (things heat up, things fail from heat)...but letting it rip through first and second right up to 6500 RPM (hit your shift fast at 6400ish and you won't hit the rev limiter) and most of third is just too fun not to.

it takes 1000 hp to over come the air resistance at 250 mph in a aero dynamic Bugatti. 281, would require much more for a camaro

I didn't have time to test each gear but today mine did around 113 on the 3rd gear. The car is stock with 3000 miles on it.

That sucks that you guys can reach 135mph in 4th with 4.10's but we can only reach 130mph in 4th with 3.70's.

I still have the factory top speed limiter where it was set at the factory. When Anthony @ LG Motorsports did my tune, he said the factory tune had Yelo Maro preset at 255 MPH instead of 155 MPH.
