I'm excited to see the car brought $55k but why didn't it sell? No VIN info or anything saying it's special.

My guess is another guy wishing his 75k investment was still worth 75k, same as the guy on ebay a while back selling his AGM Z. Both tone deaf on the current market, its going to take a little more time for these to appreciate than just a couple of years.

Yeah I guess. I was suprised to see a buyer was willing to go $55k plus buyers fee. I tried to see what the fee was but Mecum took it down. First auction in Vegas so it probably was not 10%.

Good stuff.

Seller turned down $55k in Vegas, taking it to Kansas City to try again. I'm guessing high bid will be less than $55k.

That surprises me too. Probably saw it and had to have it and doesn't have access to the internet to see that he was over bidding. Either that or he was drunk?

I test drove a car before I made the deal with Shottenkirk in Iowa. That white Z/28 was here in a Tulsa suburb- Sapulpa - and at 295 miles, the 427 on one of the valve covers was half peeled off...it was one of the reasons why I said no. The other was the passenger seat where the dealer's wife had damaged the leather by the way she sat or her weight etc..the seat had wrinkles in it

Should have sold it in Vegas! Cost him close to $10k between transport and fees!
