'69 Camaro - Looking to Restore

I have a 1969 Camaro Convertible that has a few things that need work on.

I'm thinking replacing the engine/transmission if feasable and some other work.

I'm looking for someone in the New England area, preferably RI.

Anybody have any recommendations?

Know anybody?

Suggestions?

Go over to Camaros.net and register in the forums section. The who's who of 1st gen Camaros are there and will be more than happy to help you out. Nice car btw!

Welcome to the site neighbor! Good luck with your restoration. Have you considered doing any of the work yourself? Have you tried Competitive Automotive on W. Shore Rd? I think it's still there on the corner of Oakland Beach Ave. Lots of parts and he must know people who can do the work.

Competitive Automotive? You mean Earl?

We are on a first name basis. I have bought more stuff than I can imagine.

He is a great guy to deal with, by the way.

I only do the little stuff like replacing the rugs and things like that.

I won't attempt a motor swap as I don't have the tools, knowledge or ability.

I would like to find someone local who would like to take on this project, though.
