Interesting to know, I would ideally like to drive one first. Don't know the odds of that happening, or just use GM's "give it back" option

The 1LE is performance tight, but not harsh, unless you are used to a 73' Caddy

Pete, would you say a stock 1LE rides about as stiff as a 10 SS with drop springs? That is what I have now and its pretty close to my tolerence level for a DD.

In the general range, but the damping is so much better I am not sure a direct comparison is appropriate. Think Z06 Vette.

I'm not sure how the air suspension performs, however. I thought of the doing the Pedders setup. I found airlift on Amazon.com for 2800 bucks. Couldn't beat that. Plus how I realize that I won't be going to a track very often. Also, I do like to drive it often and usually encounter some obstacles that wouldn't be so forgiving to those with coilovers, pot holes, speed bumps, driveways, curbs, etc. I know I won't ever have the fastest and lightest car with amazing traction but that doesn't mean I can't add power to enjoy it neither. I guess all I'm saying is, get what you think will suit you and your wants! Even if it means spending just a little extra cash. You only live one time. And at least it's personalized to your liking. Yea everyone is going to give you there expert opinion but really it's all about what you're really looking to achieve.
