So the LSX goes with your Forgestars for the track and the LS99 goes with your Savanis for the street? Don't you think that's going to be too much work, having to switch engines back and forth? That's like a 2-3 hour job!!!

Kidding!!!

Just buy a whole front subframe clip... take off the front facia, and then it's about six bolts, and the drive shaft... then you could even have the racing transmixer... drop that one and put in the race model...

I was pretty amazed how easy it is to remove the front sub-clip, motor tranny and all... They had mine out in less than an hour after the front fascia was off...

As this build has gotten bigger and bigger I've known that at some point I'd need to do something with the engine. I'm now pushing what we think is a little over 700 RWHP (dyno pull this Tuesday night). The stock motor has held up fine so far, but I drive this car every day so it's really just a matter of time.

I wasn't out there looking to buy an LSX immediately, but when my friend PoleCat posted up I decided to send her a PM. She'd bought the LSX, and then before installing it decided to go with some crazy alcohol dragster build.

She made me a great deal on the block so I jumped on it. Thanks PoleCat!

Obviously this is just the first part of the puzzle, but eventually the LSX is going in. Not sure on the time frame but I'll keep you posted.

Dropped off my car at ARD to get some final things done before the fest.

JRE posi mod
Hawk ceramic brake pads
ARP wheel studs
Powdercoated exhaust tips

I also ordered an Ace steering wheel which is supposed to be delivered today.

Almost ready to go!
