You do realize that Chip Foose isn't making those cast aluminum wheels at his hotrod studio right? Some guy named Chi Foo is the one making them, overseas in Asia. They are low quality wheels, with cheap chrome jobs. I had a set of Foose cast 24s on my '07 Escalade. The chrome looked like crap in less than a year.

You get what you pay for when it comes to wheels.

BLKnCHRME09Deluxe - post pix when you're done. I'm curious. I had thoughts about smaller rims up front, so I'm anxious to see yours.

The wheelwells are all so huge it'll be hard to fill it up with any 20" wheel even after lowering it. I like the big rims on this car, but 24" is too much for me. I will probably go with 22" all around.

9ball made me laugh twice - 1st, he's a billet wheel dealer yet he's running cast Foose wheels on his own truck, and 2nd, he had chrome, which many of the overpriced billet jobs can't even do !!

bigger the rim, more expensive the tire, has less sidewall height, closer rim is to the ground. road rash will be common with bigger rim diameters. you will be able to spin your wheels easier and break them loose no problem. the ride will also be like a goat wagon. looks aren't everything, but to each his/her own. just take into consideration what you are compromising for looks.

Yea i was thinking of a 22" rear with a 285/35/22 & 20" front with a 245/35/20....just have to figure out which lowering kit will be best for that set-up...And i dont want to spend crazy $$$ for coilovers... I do know i will have to drop it more than a inch.. excessive fender gap drives me crazy. So you could imagine how i feel about stock hieght...

Yea i don't get that one either...He talks his talk but don't walk the walk...Foose wheels are so cheap and so junk...but hey he runs them...lol..anything to make a $$$...

Also here's another pic of a Camaro fitted with 24" rear 22" fronts as IMO this looks good also. And with a 22" you will have more room for tire options...As i don't want a 24"

Still not digging it.
And for what it's worth, Nineball, (Tony), is a reputable guy. He will tell you exactly the way it is when it comes to wheels, or cars for that matter.
Good luck man!

Question.... Does anyone know what the EXACT wheel and tire set-up this car has? obviously they're 20's.... What about wheel width, offset, and tire sizes?... this is exactly the set-up I'm looking for! Any help would be great!

IMO, that 69 looks like a$$. That car needs more sidewall to look good. If you like the "pimptastic" look, it's for you. Some people like gawdy, some like symmetry. The lines of the camaro scream symmetry. More meat in the rear is always good the height should be about the same. Like everything else, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Wheels that big are good for one thing only...looks. And, that is only if YOU like the look of them. Can't drag in them...road racing ain't that great....

But, if you like them, that's all that counts.

Just a note: It is my understanding that the ABS/TC require the both front and rear wheels have to have equal rotation (i.e. equal tire diameter) to work correctly. You might look into whether or not the ABS/TC systems can be recalibrated unless you go taller tires in the front to match the rear tire diameter.

With the plethora of tires available in 20" and 22" nowdays, matching overall diameter with lower profile tires is not a big deal. The difference in height between a 265/35/20 and a 295/25/22 is about .5", or less than 2%.

That being said, since 22's don't look bad on the front, I see no reason not to run 22" all around (if you're into that look). For everyone else, 20" is beautiful

This will make the rear tire look very thin on the sidewall, and the front tire look fat and chunky. Sort of the opposite of what is typical in a performance/muscle car (bigger looking tires usually on back, not front)

Ultimately, it is up to you, I'm just trying to save you from spending a few grand and ending up unhappy.

Tony
I totally agree.........finally someone that knows something.
