+1, I am sure it will look like new, but can you handle knowing what happend is the question. I know I can't let things go, so I am not sure what I would do. Good Luck, and I am sorry for you.

If the paint job is not showroom new, I'd pass. Black shows everything and you'll never be happy.

i know black shows everything. but i did notice there was a spot on my fender that has scratches. i used a microfiber towel and detailer spray and it caused it. i was really surprised that the clear scratched that easily. it bugs me because i know its there (you have to look at it at the right angle to see it). I will buff it off as soon as it gets warm out.

has anyone else's clear showing very little scratches?

If the right person buffs this car it will look better than it would if it came from the factory. The only problem with black is it will only look good for 5 minutes. Then the dust will settle on it and it will look dirty. The less you can touch black the better it will be. That being said, Black is the best looking color, hands down, when it is clean.

No problems with my Black RS/2SS, it still looks great from the show room floor. You just have to spend a few hours attention to detail. Good luck.

Did I mention mine is 4 sale here on the form, someone lucky as heel will get her.

Exactly why I ordered them not to touch the finish on my car. they still washed it anyway.
Now they are going to wear down your clearcoat to get the swirl marks out, or use a clear filler that will eventually re show the marks.

It's black.

You will NEVER find a car that doesn't have the tiny scratches like this. It's gonna happen. The quicker you can live with them, the better you will feel. Enjoy the 'New' of the car for the very short time that it's new.

My IOM shows fine scratches in the sun, but hides them well at normal angles.

I see virtually no scratches or swirl marks in my Rally Yellow.

I have always owned black cars, and this is the first exception. Black is absolutely beautiful, but a major PITA to keep just right.

I always use this stuff called Dri-Wash and it works beautifully on the black. But, you need to use it EVERY TIME you wash the car.
