Ouch. I was a big fan of the technical knowledge RX provided. And I would have to see the whole thread, but it does not look good for RX. I would be just as upset as you.

You were told when it first happened to send it in and we would repair it but you did not want to be w/out the can so I told you how....you chose to. We now cut threads in (began app 4-5 months ago) You should tell it straight....not slam me in public for going beyond warranty and not only offering to repair correctly or replace, but also to cover the shipping it cost you to send it in...THAT is service. No other company I know of would honor a warranty 1 year after it expires AND cover your shipping cost to do so.....so tell the whole story, not a few choice parts of it.

So, those on the hate bandwagon.....we warranty our products for up to one year, but have ALWAYS went above and beyond when we look at the customer circumstances.....(just read a few of the posts from those happy we do). So, first off, no Jegs or Summit will warranty something nearly 2 years out of warranty, and second, what does emptying the can have to do with taking the fittings off? You just open the drain and collect the oil in a drain pan when changing oil or another appropriate container. With all the thousands here with the same AN fittings from back when they were expoxied on had issues there certainly would be more than this one post. What is he doing to break these where all the others do not? Not sure, but we STILL offered to repair or replace AND machine threads into the new style fittings to prevent it. No Jegs or Summit would do that either.

When does someone say "enough is enough"? And Mr buckteeth is in every thread slamming me and is not now, or has never been a customer of mine, has been asked time and again to refrain, yet still does this....THAT is against forum rules. You cannot target another member or vendor for harassment and click on his "find more posts" and see the pattern. Yes, he is violating the rules I have to follow so he should be held to the same standards the rest are. IF he was a customer that had not been happy with a product or a service this would be different, but he is not, he has shown a pattern of interfering in my threads, posts, and posts/threads discussing our company/products and every time to cause trouble. So, this is the last time I ask him to cease.

And to close, show me ONE company that will let customers take advantage of their policy's and then at the same time slam them in public. We go out of our way to provide the best service possible, and the best products...but when their is an issue, we take care of it and this is app 2 years ago he purchased this and we did offer to repair or replace at no charge the first time, and this time. What the customer here does NOT include is he wanted a full refund after 2 years.....and as we were offering the repair or replace free and cover his shipping costs over a year AFTER any warranty had run out.

So for those that want both sides to the story, now you have it. To buck teeth or the other few that care not the whole story....don't know what to tell you other than put yourself in the vendors shoes....if you sold products and let customers use them for years, would YOU refund? How would you stay in business? Think about it.

PM'D Tracy....this is what i get....

So you tell the customer to fix your CC with JBWELD??? Wow really...
ok so almost a year later...that worked until a few days ago It broke off Again.....

Pm'd Tracy again... said he would "cut the threads on both parts to eliminate the issue, and he would guarantee it" Why didn't you offer this last year?...Is it just Lazyness or is this how Rx customers should fix their defective pieces of crap? Customer service at its best

So in the V6 Lounge i post up what i did to my car so help me God, because i didnt want to run without a catch can, (and i purchased a catch can from Billetcustoms for my 12 year old Acura anyways) posted i put it on my camaro until tracy fixed mine. A member asked me how did mine break and i told him. I did not go out of my way to slam or bash Rx in a malevolent way but apparently i did. So for you future RX customers and/or current customers this how you're treated even after buying 700$ worth of merchandise...

"one year warranty" What does the "we only do refunds in a few months" mean? LOL

This could've been all avoided with A. you (tracy) cutting the threads LAST year, to begin with.

or B. refunding me my money. And avoiding this review.
OK... I'll play devils advocate. I read this and see that you agreed to the JB weld fix, not wanting to be without your car. It lasts for a year which sounds about right for JB weld. Why didn't you ask him for a return last year???

Then Tracy PM's you that he will fix it AND GUARANTEE IT yet you fail to include that PM, but DO post all the negative ones.

So instead of just sending it to him for a solid fix you start bashing him about what he should have done a year ago, then expect him to still fix your catch can.

I don't blame him for saying you were being a dick... not calling you one. Wow
