It was more than signatures, it was being here as well. Too much pub for not "officially" being on the team.

That's not surprising. But Camaro 5 was where it all started and you "the" guy here on the forums so stardom was to be expected at the fest.

Yeah I agree, I never liked the Inferno Orange. Is there a metallic in this color?

Crush is flat just like Hugger. Wish they would have kept the old name too.

So Porsche has just come out and said the 911 will stay ICE basically forever. Too much a part of the car and what it is. I don't think they ruled out hybrids, though. And their EV strategy can take shape in other models like the Taycan and SUVs.

Also of note, I've not seen any GM prototypes in the press lately. The Hummer EV prototypes should be on the road now if it's available at any time in 21 and the Lyriq prototypes are non-existent. Not much going on for GM unless they've made a quantum leap in their development cycle.

Looking forward to the CT4 and 5 V Blackwing announcements. Seems obvious what the powertrains will be but maybe they have a surprise coming.

I am also very excited to see what the next powertrain announcement is for the C8. I think anything that goes over 650 HP and stays under $100,000 will be more incredible than the base car for under $60k. Not that I'm willing to pony up that much for either.

Of all the recent releases, however, GM seems to still have the same problem it has had for years. Crappy or at least un inspiring interiors. Me thinks they are holding to some old paradigms and it's holding them back. Even Ford is now rushing tablet size center consoles in multiple products. Ram has it in their pickup. Not sure what I think about those.

My gut tells me the Camaro survives but becomes something completely different with either FC or EV propulsion. Frankly I think it would be cool if it were a FC. That would allow GM to have major differentiation between the Corvette. But the issue will be the name. I've noticed Ford now simply saying, "we've electrified the Mustang" in their ads when that's not really what they did at all.

But GM has plopped Blazer and Trailblazer on Small SUVs with no concerns and yes there was a FWD Camaro in the plan at one point many years ago. So GM doesn't seem beholding to heritage that much.

As usual GM's a little behind the curve. But looks like the bigger screens are on the way.

It's about time... this may even make me wait on my next Truck/SUV purchase.

Merry Christmas to The House. And as always a HUGE thank you to those that can’t be with their families and loved ones today. This has been a devastating year for so many and I hope and pray everyone’s health and safety.
