Hi AG1LE - just now saw your question on the diffuser. From my research last year, part number 22985096 is the Z28 diffuser and comes painted black. The other part number is the same diffuser but is not painted. It's typically used for the special editions.
I ended up getting the 22985096 diffuser to match the other Z28 parts I bought.

Is there a significant difference between the SS and Z/28 driveshafts?

Online GM parts sites show the Z/28 driveshaft as P/N 20931145, but that is also the number for the ZL1 shaft...doesn't seem correct that these are the same. Can anyone confirm the P/N for the Z/28 driveshaft? I would think it is a direct bolt-on for an SS.

Has anyone attempted to swap in the Z28 brake controller to an SS? A brief search didn't provide any results (read: my google-fu sucks).

I saw the Z28 and the SS have different part numbers for the rear suspension cradle. Does anyone know what the differences are?

Thanks
Craig

I do acknowledge that will be the wickerbill. as I have been revealed to it won't come introduced on the Z. It will be in the limit compartment and would be introduced after transport.

The difference is the four bushings that mount the cradle to the chassis. Looks like the Z/28 has a thicker plastic sleeve, so less rubber between the aluminum center and the outer sleeve.
