Do they have a loop for the rear of the driveline available? That seems to be what is breaking the most.
We actually have one in the works right know. The one in thread makes the car NHRA legal, but only helps if the front half of the driveshaft breaks. I hope to have some pics of our rear driveshaft safety loop within the next few weeks.

Thanks, BMR. Post pics and prices when you have both available.
Even though NHRA doesn't require a rear loop, that's the one that I think we really need. Destroying the fuel tanks is really scarey. That would be nasty to set on fire.

A question on the front loop, by the pics it looks like the loop covers the
tranny mount holes on the crossmember?

I will get some pricing and install pics. The front loop is installed between the transmission crossmember and the transmission mount. That is why we have the shims with the the loop.

The rear shaft breaking should be a pretty large concern with the 2010 guys and we are working hard to get something to help with this. It shouldn't be long before we have something ready for you guys.

BMR, how do you bolt the transmission mount back to the crossmember with
the holes blocked off by the loop?

The holes don't get blocked by the loop, there are holes in the loop for it to get sandwiched betwen the transmission mount and the crossmember. The reason they are blocked by the bolts there is to just show how it mounts to the crossmember. I will get you guys an install picture the begining of next week.

The rear loop is not finished as of yet, there is quit a bit of difficulty in making a piece like this and getting it mounted to the chassis. As soon as I get word that it is done I will let you guys know and get you some pics.

Aluminum doesn't have the strength to hold a broken driveshaft spinning at 6k or 7k RPM's. And if it was made out of aluminum it would be considerably more pricey.
