I know what I am about to say will probably not go over well on this forum, but no matter what kind of exhaust you put on a GM V8, it will never sound as good as the exahust on a V8 Mustang. I know it's all to do with the firing order, but it still sad that GM's just sound loud versus good, IMHO.

But when a Chevy gets up in range, nothing beats it IMO. I love to hear it rev out. AUGH!!!  But the cruising around in a low gear in a Mustang sounds better. But it's in the upper RPM range where it matters to me. That ZL1 exhaust sounds better than any Mustang exhaust I have heard to date. I wish my MBRP sounded that good. LOL Maybe with headers and a CAM it will sound much better.
