Anyone ever used C1 Crystal Lacquer?

Someone on here mentioned using a combo of C1 Crystal Lacquer and EXOv2 Ultra Durable Hybrid Coating and spoke highly of it, but it's crazy expensive: two 30 ml. bottles at $50.00 each. http://gtechniqna.com/. It doesn't even look like it would be enough to do a whole car. It claims to add a slick, glossy surface, but if the paint is already properly polished, does this product make a difference? Seems like for us shine junkies it's just an expensive water repellent, but if it's worth the money I might look into it. Any opinions?

Exo is way easier. C1 is not necessary.

I have this combo. The quantities will do a Camaro without worry. It goes on very thin so a little goes a long way. The second question yes polished paint is smootb, but does not bead water and with out an LSP is not protected at all. With the combo you have a sacrificial layer with the C1, and another layer with the exo, and the exo hates water. You almost don't need to dry the car, I usually just finish it off with a little blower. The other benefits is the car takes much longer to get dirty in the first place, light scratches damage the coating not the clear coat, enemies of paint like bird bombs, insects ect have much less of a chance to do any damage. Think of it as a durable second clear coat that keeps dirt build up down, and is super easy to clean. That said it is not indestructable. If you are short on time and do not detail often coatings are fantastic.

The cons
If you like to detail your car often this will take away the paint part for a couple of years.
If you screw up the application the panel will need to be polished and redone.
The coating needs to be maintained with soaps and detail sprays designed for coatings.
Application, follow the directions to a T.
Does not like to be topped with other products. If you looking for a coating that will take wax over it try Pinnacle Black label surface coating. Here are a few videos.

That looks like serious stuff. I would think you cannot apply that over Xpel film? Think I will stick to the regular type stuff. Cant wait to use my new Porter Cable in the Spring, if it ever stops snowing here.........

It can be applied over Xpel, but not expel over it. If your going to coat do the protective film first, then coat.
