My personal opinion... if it's not 2nd nature to thumb the safety they're not training enough

Have you been shooting that .338? I was expecting pics..... a year ago
I need to find someone I know with a commander sized .45 and try it out.
Negative on a .338 haha, I almost built one, went with a .308 due to lack of distance and cheaper to shoot. I have a friend with a 6.5x47 Lapua....

I will say, I do like the price point and look of some of the Springfields. I also am admiring some Kimber's and STI's...

What did you buy? I've two 700's, one in .308, one in 7mm SAUM. It's a costly hobby.

I bought (2) LMT MWS. The 308 is currently plain but the factory trigger on it is really nice! 5.5# and smooth.

The pictured gun is the 6.5CM. It is also an MWS but was worked on by GAP. It has a Geissele SSA-E. Surefire brake, UBR stock, Bushnell DMR 3.5-21, Atlas bipod. The former owner also has a LaRue OBR (behind it) and he said the MWS will outshoot it noticably. He also said the farthest he shot it was 1100 yds. I can't wait to shoot either of them.

Why do I need a 1000yd gun? Why do I need a 1000whp Camaro? Because I want them. Don't ask my wife why I need them. She'll give a much smaller answer...
Thoroughly impressive combination. I've always wanted a semi auto long range gun but never got around to it. Awesome setup! Really jealous! I've a 8 oz. trigger on my one 700... That's interesting to say the least.

Let us know how they shoot (amazing i'd assume).

Agreed.....further, what ever firearm is carried one should be able to manulipate and shoot it like 2nd nature. Your and/or others lives might depend on it.

I can safely assume that it would take far less than multiples of double digits to purchase your Camaro.

Consider the mag is inserted, bolt is closed and the safety is in the fire position.

I'm not following you... I am really tired though.

Saying it's potentially unsafe if it were in fact loaded (I'd guess it's not.)

Then I suggest you take some firearm safety classes immediately.

It's loaded.

Even if it isn't...

It is.

Bolt closed? Treat it like it's loaded.

Even if you yourself closed it on an empty chamber.

I wonder how many loved ones heard these last words as they lay dying..... "I thought it was unloaded!"

9mm conversion barrel has arrived! Just need the magazines now...

Does anyone have a slip on grip for their pistol? If so who makes it and do you like it?

Well aware- you'll never see me consider a trigger pull in a non range setting unless i physically check the chamber.
