Not sure if it's a teck/track package but one member did post a dmv registration paper and it had his GT350'S gross weight . It only weighed 35,XXX lbs if I can recall. |

Unless you're tracking the car almost every single weekend the break upgrade is not worth the money.

I thought the GT350 is at least 38,XXX LBS. Just did a quick search.. average weight is 37,XXX + lbs And with magazine Racing, don't think it will beat a SS on the 1/4. Nice car tho regardless lol |

The 35xx lbs that have been seen are shipping weights. These are based off lightest car in the model segment and bare bones. Nobody drives a shipping weight car. The curb weights on Fords website is what you need to go off from as that is how they are driven.

I am going to track the car I am completely interested in the 1le based on looks and performance its my top contender , the only thing with the 2ss is I absolute love that LEATHER as far as SS vs GT350, I have to say I think the SS is easier to drive better early torque |

I'd say wait and get a 1LE if tracking is really your thing. You will get recaros and likely still $10k under a base '17 GT350. You can also always get a 1SS and get the seats covered in nice leather and save a bunch of cash too. You definitely have options if leather is the only thing you wanted a 2SS for.

Yeah and that's the shipping weight that I was seeing not the curb weight.
Watch a few videos of the SS on the tracks and even on the forums, not one issue of overheating that I read about. 3 radiators is def. a plus!! I love the exclusivity of the GT350.. but I would chose an SS or a 1LE over it. That's just me, my opinion.. The midrange torque of the SS is incredible. Plus, I like the design of the SS better! Only thing the Stang has over the Camaro is a slightly better visibility. Coming from a family of Fords and owning a GT and an Ecoboost Mustang.. The SS just impresses, over exceeded my expectations. I don't see many 6th Gen on the streets but when I do, DAMN the road presence! Especially the how the daytime running lights.. makes the car looks menacing! |

OP, I wish you could have test drove one and provided some feedback compared to an SS! I never drove a GT350 but I'm guessing the mid-range grunt is not a present compared to an SS. SS is lighter and has a bit more torque as well..
But the 8200 rpm should sound menacing! |
