Unhappy Does your AFM make you sick

I hate my AFM system. I get car sick on the freeway from the constant surging and slowing of the engine as the cylinders shut on and off. If I had known when I bought it I definitely would have gone with the manual trans and LS3. As soon as I am comfortable with the quality of the car I will have it tuned out! Shame on me I guess for not finding this site sooner.

That's your best bet, any tuner with tuning software like HP can easily turn off the system.

Yes, sucks bad. We all need to call GM and complain (I already did), so they send out a reflash giving us the option of disabling it with Sport/M Transmission mode or by switching the Stabilitrak off...Or Comp mode...

what type or brand of tunner do you guys reccommend?
Also what is the cost range?
The AFM in mine is driving me nuts as well, and could be going with a maggy supercharger through you guys in the spring.
Thanx

My AFM is so annoying that I drive exclusively with the paddle shifters. My car never touches "D" anymore.

It's a shame GM didn't put a simple "AFM disable" switch in the car, or tie it into the sport mode of the transmission.

The AFM is one of my few complaints with this car...simply stated...it sucks. Constant back and forth. Shit.

I know it's a little more work, but for all you guys complaining about the AFM, I'm pretty sure once you go into manual mode it shuts off. So they already built something into the car to inactivate it if it annoys you. I'm just going off what I've read. Anyone with an auto could you verify this? I won't be able to verify until mid-October when mine comes in

AFM sucks................

AFM does not belong on a Muscle Car........

I had mine turned off after all my high performance upgrades.....
