I did get the test fit one, no kidding. They are working on (isn't done yet) a carbon fiber one also. This is a first off and the fit is unreal, they did one hell of a job for it being the first. I talked with Robert about it when they first ran an add for it and he kept me updated with the progress of it for weeks. He called last week and said its coming. The thing that got me was the gel coat finish, it shines and is black. We all know that black doesn't hide anything. This hood is straight and hides nothing. The underside looks just as good and unlike the others it still gives you room and works like the old school hoods

Oh yeah the price is way below the others and american made.

check the lines in the second pic, they line up great!!!!! and no its not painted yet. Going to get a price on Monday from my friends at Hampton Chevrolet, they did a great job on my ZL-1 spoiler.

The VFN is a few hundred cheaper than MPD1.. makes me wonder what these guys want. :-)

page 89 is the add for harwood of the April issue of Super Chevy. 595 for glass and 795 for fiber

I agree, I like the OP's hood, but Eric's stuff looks great, and the quality is very nice, his routes to the CAI as well, which takes up room so the OP's probably has more under hood room. So it's all about what you prefer.

Great price on the OP's, Eric;s prices are not bad either considering what others want for their hoods.

Love that hood. I had one on my 3rd Gen and loved it.
I gave up waiting for Harwood to make one for a 5th Gen and got my TruFiber hood with the glass window a few months ago

We have a VFN front clip for a Lemans at my shop. Compared to Harwood quality its seriously lacking. Harwoods stuff is hard to beat for sure.
