Just crossed over 1800 miles on my 45th
It's been a long time since I last posted here. My 45th 2LT RS has just over 1800 miles (not a typo). I guess I'm kind of obsolete these days. I figure a lot of 5th gen owners migrated over to 6th gen by now. Just wanted to check in. Is Becky still with us these days?

I wouldn't say that you're obsolete at all. The fact that a 6g is at least 10k more expensive for a comparably equipped 5g will keep the majority of people from switching unless they think the design change is an improvement. I don't think so, as the 6g looks much less muscle and much more sport in my opinion.

I don't have any intention on upgrading anytime soon. We are hoping to keep the mileage low in hopes of giving it to our daughter some day (she is 4). Doing a good job so far. Will probably start putting a little more mileage on it starting this year. We had it to a lot of car shows and have about a dozen trophies on the mantel. I like the 6th gens, but I don't plan on swapping the '12 out. Thanks for the reply.
P.S. Love your hood

Nice! I hope you don't get bashed like I did for "not driving" your car. My 13 has many more miles at 8,000.

Don't worry about the mileage you bought and are paying for it so you do as you please. My 2012has just above 6200 miles. My 6 yr old son thinks the car is already his. Ryan

Maybe a few years from now, a C6 might come my way... Then again, I'm just amazed how awesome my C5 is... Just can't wait to see what it will be with an appropriate tune and DOD permanently disabled. RedRock... |

Put some miles on that thing and drive it like it's meant to be driven, it's not a museum piece! I thought mine was low at 10k.

Yea, it's hard to believe that it still has the new car smell when I take the cover off and open the doors

That is pretty cool honestly. Look at how we go crazy at finding gen 1-4,with "low miles, all original, numbers matching". We like seeing that, and the sale value on cars like that is sky high. Some people collect, some people don't.
