Speedway gas station E85 Quality??
Has anybody tested the E85 at the Speedway gas station to see if it actually comes out at 85% lately?

Not quite 85%. About 75%. Used it the last 3 years road racing at NCM. No issues.
I have yet to find anywhere in the area that is above 80%. -Don

Thanks guys, I have a few pails of VP in my trailer that I'm bringing, wondering if it's worth refilling them down there after we're done racing. You can't get E85 at the pumps up here in Canada.

87 octane gas is blended in at 15 to 30%, depending on weather. There are also other additives. So, if they went with a summer blend min of 15% 87, and you ended up testing at 85% ethanol... means they skipped the other additives. I think 83 is about the highest most will see at a summer E85 pump. The racing E85s are more consistent, blended with race gas instead of 87 and ending up at 112 octane. |

Cecilia at Renegade got me hooked up for everything I needed. Their office is on the way to Beech Bend from the hotel.

Who wouldn’t love a little 112 octane in their tank
