use the New Camaro for NASCAR???

No. I think it would only fit the Trans Am Series. If the mustang is not in NASCAR then it should not be there as well.

it won't be because I believe it's sedans that nascars are suppose to be on.

Why not. I dont really like nascar but they use monte carlos and toyotas and shit.

There has been talk by NASCAR about using the Camaro, Challenger, and Mustang for the BUSH (Nation Wide) series. Their intention would be trying to get rid of all the “Bush Whackers”… There was an article posted about it somewhere on here but I don’t have the time to try to find it…

I think it would be cool as hell if they used them...

I'd rather see it on road courses, however being in Nascar would be a huge boost for visibility. Nascar should go back to what it was originally just moderately modified street cars what there doing now is just a joke as far as I'm concerned, lets see a toyota Avalon or Ford Fusion take those corners at 170 mph stock (they are called stock cars are they not). Actually lets see an Avalon or a Fusion hit 170 on the salt flats stock of course.

Thats exactly how GM feels. The want to get the Camaro away from the Redneck Mullet Hillbilly image and more mainstream for every day poeple.

Marketing for this car is going to be a 180 of what it use to be, going after normal non car enthusiasts buyers with the V6 while they now the die hards are going to get the V8's anyway.

Camaro vs Camry, dont think so. I really hate the idea of the Camry winning. If the Transam series was still alive it would be great to see the Camaro, Mustang and Challanger duke it out. Riley Technologies will be building a Camaro for the Koni Challange which is part of the Grand Am series so we will see it in competition.
