SS Grille Emblem Removal ?

How do you remove the red ss emblem from the grille? I have removed the bowtie and made a new holder for the trailblazer ss emblems and don't want the red ss emblem on in the grille with the new one installed.

I am curious about this as well. I was going to look into it when I went home for the holidays.

Just found this digging around some other threads. Thanks to Mr Smith:

The rear SS badge is glued and comes off the same as the side badges. The front SS is clipped into the grill. You have to get one hand in behind it and get to the hanger to push the clips and the other hand in the front to pull the emblem out.

There is a little plastic tab that is a part of the front grill so whatever you do don't just pull on the SS emblem because you will break it. The SS emblem is held on with double sided tape. Get you some fishing line and run it behind the emblem carefully and it will come right off. Then just clean the little tab up and you are good to go.

It's actually pretty hard, and a pain to get back into place. There's tabs on the back (hard to get to and hard to remove) you can use a flat head screw driver on the right side and push it in with your finger from the left, I'd suggest doing the left first.

Next is the SS emblem the same one as on the rear Its from your GM dealer, This is the Part # 15211285 and i paid $15 per.

2SSRS,
After looking at SLP performance- There are two Part numbers for the filler One is 100032A, the other is 100033A the PN 100042A that you provided is the old school SS emblem. Do you know what one of the fillers you used?

Thanks,
Mike
