I agree. We should call Todd next week and ask him to chime in here!

Absolutely, and my thoughts exactly. I was talking to member Ekow about that today when I installed his stock OEM lights. Hopefully we don't get the shaft, or immediately dismissed for the taillights not being the culprit, or we better not be told to drive our cars more often. A fresh battery should not be dying in that little amount of time. I've had a boatload of LED's on my car and not once in almost a year of LED installation (halos, underbody, interior, etc.....) have a had issues with dying batteries until I installed the Technostalgia lights, AND it happened twice. When the issue is repeatable, a problem is evident and it's virtually impossible not to blame the taillights when it's the only change to the car and the battery dies multiple times in months.

Ive had mine since March 1 2012 and have had a few issues with them. But this issue just started...came home tonight to lights flashing again and a dead battery. the car is not my daily driver looks like I'll be putting a switch in or getting rid of them.

For those that have a trickle charger hooked-up - where did you hook too? I was thinking to the red terminal up the hood, but where did you hook ground too? I am using a battery tender and want the connection to stay on the car!

Definitely let us know how it goes over time. Or, for an experiment, try letting the car sit for a tad longer, and see if it occurs. It's a crappy experiment just because I don't want you to actually have a dead battery, but atleast you'll know if the dead battery occurence will happen with you as well. Good luck!

Damn, I'll add you to the list as well. Thank you for posting to let us know.

Check out my build thread for pictures of where I installed mine. It may only be as far back as 3-5 pages from the very end of the thread. The negative (ground) is a metal post with a round head on the end located on the drivers side of the vehicle about a couple feet closer to the nose than the postive terminal is. The metal frame of the engine bay even has a cutout to make room for that post.

You should be fine - I had the problem when I did not drive the car for about 2 weeks or more.

We do not have to garage much here either, but mine is not a daily driver! I only drive it on weekends where it is not raining. Car does not see rain!
