Got the 3M on my last 2 cars and on my ZL1. Best thing I could have done for the bumper. I had so many rock chips on my other camaros prior to repainting the bumper. Now, cant even tell there's a clear bra on it. My clear bra guy did mine custom cut instead of using the normal template so you can barely see the lines on the clear bra unless you look really hard. Cost me $500

For the full detail and Opti-Coat 2.0, I think it was about $350. Opti-Coat 2.0 isn't like a clear bra, though. It's just another semi-permanent clear coat that's tougher than the factory clear coat. I'm sure if a rock was thrown up from the road, it could still chip the paint. The clear bra would add more protection in that regard.

Does it need to ever be replaced? Also is it easy to take off?

You can pay cheap but don't complain if the job doesn't turn out right. I'd rather pay more and know my car is done with 100% perfection.
Just like the guy I always use. He's not cheap but he does perfect work.
