Has anyone had an aftermarket exhaust system installed in the Ft. Worth area? If so, who did it for how much? Thanks!

I would contact Andy.

He can do it all and has the first 427 Camaro. He may even throw a tune for a few local people. I just met on on Saturday.

P.S. Real nice guy. I was getting ready to leave a Meet and he just had his food delivered and I told him I wanted to hear that 427 next time and he got up before he even ate and went out and fired that BAD BOY up. Sounded pretty sweet and had over 600 horses under the hood. He can do it all.

If you're still not having any luck, call Doug Mabe (in new car sales) at Friendly Chevrolet; He can hook you up. There's also a link on this site to a video/audio of their systems, and I believe the work is actually done in Grand Prairie or Arlington.

Best exhaust work in Tarrant county is at Kinney's Muffler shop in Bedford. www.kinneysmufflershop.com . These guys take the time to do it right...it will look perfect.

I believe Kinney's is the shop that does Friendly Chevrolet's work. They're going to do my Silverado.

That's great! You'll be very happy. On my '99 with the center mount exhaust, I had it at two other shops and neither of them would get it centered just right, and it was hanging down too low. I'm a bit of a perfectionist about my cars (who on this board isn't??) and expected it to be perfect, and both of those shops acted like I was being unreasonable. I took it to Kinney's and told them I wanted it re-hung, centered and at the right angle, and warned them that I was going to be anal about it being right. They said no problem, they'd re-do it if I wasn't completely satisfied. They got it right on the first try, and even polished up my tips which were pretty filthy due to the car running rich.

I appreciate a shop which cares for their customers' cars like their own!

Called today & got a quote for my 2ss...... Street Demon $1075 / Power Cruise $1175. Really nice guy on the phone.
