HAHA!! I wish I'd seen a pic of yours before I tried the install. I was racking my brain trying to figure out how to get it extended and in a position to be able to drain it.

OMG Penzoil and a blend.. hope you not planning on flooring the car much.,.
use Mobil 1 or top line castrol synthetic or go all out with Amsoil Dominator Racing Oil
Better safe then sorry..

As a matter of fact, I don't floor it much, but I can't imagine how Pennzoil stayed in business for all these years, the way you guys talk about it. And the manual recommends synthetic blend.

Please elaborate on your objections to Penn Syn-Blend... and not just "Me and my buddies don't use it so it must not be any good", please.

me too, never got the L99 instructions emailed to me like the vendor promised

personaly always have used Royal Purple. in my 02 ran 4.5qt RP and 1qt of Lucas Stabilizer, ran like a champ and i ran it HARD.
