The SEMA Show is Tuesday November 2nd-5th.

You need to have a Company ask you to be in their booth or have one of their products and be a featured car. The show is not open to the public. You need to work in the Automotive Industry, be in the media, have your car sponsored/showing, or know someone that does and ask them to get you a pass.

Ok i just read some of the policies and this is what it states about video/pictures:

Camera and Video Policy - Failure to conform to any of these regulations will result in removal:

• The SEMA Show and AAPEX and the Show owners are authorized to make and may use, without limitation, notification or compensations, audio and/or visual recordings of activities at their trade shows, as well as the names of the companies and participants of the Shows.

• Professional video crews must carry the official video pass at either Show.

• At AAPEX, the use of cameras and video recorders is prohibited in the Exhibit Hall with the exception of authorized members of the working trade press.

• At the SEMA Show, photographs and personal videos are permitted with the exhibitor's permission only.

:( so no pictures? only if you are the professional camera crews with a pass can take videos/pictures? well dont this suck! anyone know more details on this

There is a problem with registration as it keeps asking for a company name, and according to Jessica it is not supposed to be doing that. She is calling her SEMA rep to find out how it can be fixed. I spoke to her today regarding that problem. Hopefully she will get a fix as all of us who want to go are drooling to get there.

You CAN take pictures at SEMA with permission from exhibitor. There might be some exhibitors that don't want pictures of their product taken. Those you don't take pictures of. I didn't have a problem with that last year and I took over 2000 pictures of just Camaros alone.

AAPEX is a another trade show.

How did you manage to get registered with their invitation when it doesn't work for anyone else?
If you figured out what the hang up in the system is please post up.

He did the same thing I did, I picked the company and address that another forum member posted. The problem is when you do that the address fields are locked, and cannot be changed. So your SEMA badges go to the AAC address listed, and not your home since you can't put in your home address.

I would hold off trying to register until Jessica gets this sorted out with SEMA, unless you want to waste some money like I just did.

Just trying to help save others money until this is fixed.

My only question was about the check box fields.. im military and have no real affiliation with any kind of automotive group right now lol.. So ya, im just waiting for jessica to reply back with some instructions on how and what to fill out etc.

I do applaud their efforts though, as i'm sure this is more hassle for them, than it is for us. Really speaks for what kind of company they are, for doing this for us. I kind of feel bad for jessica cause im sure shes getting beat up with emails, lol.

Thanks AAC for all the support and trying to make this happen for us. You guys are awesome.
