black out tail lights, vinyl or stickers?

I am thinking of "blacking out" my tail lights, back up lights, and side marker lights (10 lights total) on my CGM Camaro. I have seen vinyl cling types (not expensive) and I've seen stick on types that will last longer (not too expensive - under $50 to do all 10 lights).

I am looking for input on this. I don't want them to look terrible after a few months. I see the "stick on" types from big worm graphics and from headlightarmor.

I also see someone in the forums selling the vinyl type - I think they cling to the lights.

Anybody have experience with these and have them on for a while? I did some searching and there have been some posts, but I haven't seen a direct comparison the various types. Reports and pics of any experiences with these would be appreciated.

Oh yeah, one more thing. Do you think black out would look good on CGM? I think it would look great.

I see another thread on this below, but not many reports from those with the stick on types there. Thanks.

i rather do vinyl . which is kinda like a sticker. if u run into problems with the cops. you can just get them removed...in the other hand if u paint them..you have to get a whole new pair of lights and such.

I went with BigWorm. I wasn't able to get all the wrinkles out when I applied the outer taillights, but its barely noticeable.

The pictures I have seen of the cling version seem to dim the lights too much. Just my 2 cents...
