This convertible was built as a fun, top down cruiser - not to be a 9-second drag car. Of the $32k spent to upgrade it, about $15k of that was spent to gain 180 rear wheel hp & torque. The rest was spent on carbon fiber body parts, wheels, tires, suspension, etc. The guy who bought it could afford to have us build him a 6-second Camaro if that is what he wanted to buy, but that is not the point. He wants a fun, cool, American muscle car that he can put the top down and enjoy. And that is exactly what he got!

It's cool, but I still think he could have gotten alot more for $77,500. Especially if he just wanted a cool, powerfull weekend cruiser. Gotta pay for the shop, employees, and fecility somehow right?

Killer car. Sounds like the guy got exactly what he wanted and what he thought was cool. Pretty sure if he wanted something else he would have gotten it. I don't understand why people think they know what someone wants more then that person does. It's a HPE car. It's cool just because it says HPE on it.

Hmmm I don't know about that $32K i was quoted $45k to upgrade mine to HPE 600, just 3 months ago? I got my quote from Hennesey too! I hope they lowered it to only $32K that would be great for consumers. But i went another route and I will achieve over 600HP for $9k Less!!! Just saying!! Not to mention mine is an engine re-build and S/C. Remember you pay for the name!
