Does anyone know if there is a difference in the removal procedure for the rear bumper cover/valance on the 2014. Kind of stuck at the point of not wanting to pull too hard. The sides are loose and came off just like the 2010+ did/does, but the back doesn't want to unhook.

Heeeelllpppp....

TIA,
Nick

These look great! One question, Was the pebble finish on the diffuser sanded down smooth before painting or was the textured surface just prepped and painted over?

Sanded down till it's smooth and then painted. It doesn't take much effort.

I removed mine today following Jason's directions. I did it in about 1/2 hour and removed the rear wheels to access the screw by the rear wheel well a little easier. I'm sure you could just get underneath the car with it lifted by a jack too, but didn't want to struggle with trying to "feel" where the head of the torx screw is. It was in the 60's so I think it helped popping out the tabs. I just gave it a quick hard pull and they released fine without any damage. I didn't have to use a screwdriver at all.

Just finished pulling mine off tonight (on a 2015) and it's not that bad. I struggled just pulling as I could see it pulling on the actual bumper attachment points. Finding a thin metal pick that I had from a HarbF tool set it worked flawlessly. Pulled down a little on the diffuser plastic and used the pick to move the lock tabs down and popped right out.

Thank you for the write-up.
