I bought my 15 SS used with 14k on the clock. It never shifted as smooth as other MT i've driven in the past. It was notchy, grindy and sometimes refused to work with me. After reading TR-6060 issues on Mustang and Challenger (and just about any sportscar that used the TR-6060) forums about the problems the TR-6060 had, I was a little more than concerned.

This past weekend, I got some Royal Purple SyncroMax and replaced the tranny fluid. My GOD, it's like a whole different car. Where the shifter used to grid into gear, it floats effortlessly into gear. It's hard to believe a fluid swap made this much difference.

I forget which speed shop/transmission shop recommended RP (I read so many posts on this topic) but they were right!

It's crazy how bad the OEM fluid was. I barely had any miles on the car when I bought it and it shifted like that?!
