These plastic radiators are crimped together at the side tanks. Take a good look at yours and you can see how its assembled, with metal clamps holding it together.. Mine seeps a bit at the seams sometimes and I get that smell. Apparently this is somewhat common on our cars.

I tried the AC Delco seal tabs. For a few days I thought I solved it for $7 and 0 inspection. Then today the smell came back. I will start with the oil cooler line and if that isn’t it I will run the pressure test. Ugh.

Because I wanted to provide closure…
I was changing the oil today and found where the leak is coming from. The bottom of the water pump is leaking. Time for the aluminum water pump upgrade. Easy project and no other damage caused. Thanks for the feedback everyone. I am also on a Facebook page for Camaros. It is alright, but nothing like this forum. People on here aren’t about negativity and bad advice. My experience on this forum has helped me tackle major projects on my car and troubleshoot issues that I would have otherwise had to pay the dealership to identify. Love this forum.
