csc disassemble

do any of you know how to take it apart ? help please. I'm going to install that aluminium sleeve to replace the plastic that everyone says melts. while I got my transmission out. new clutch etc. guess I can google it.

frankwjr, hey you're still here! was going to pm you to see if you were alright. hope all is well with you. yeah I took it apart. I had no problem with the ring. I went thru tick yesterday and ordered another csc , speed bleeder, and shim pack for when my trans is done and I get my new clutch. oreder 2 of the csc supports one for the new one and on for my old one for spare looking at the csc can just the bearing on top of it be bought separately? ive heard that aoto zone has the whole thing cheap.

Hey guys. Next time you have to do a slave, take a good hard look at the Tilton 60-6107. For what a new GM slave costs, plus a billet support and a pack of shims, you can have one of those, and it's a much higher quality part. The bearing is replaceable as is the seal, so you can actually service it vs. buying another one. And, it's a slick design, you can adjust the installed height to get your air gap exactly where you want it.

I've got a few years on mine, been nothing but satisfied with it.
