Timing Cover Gasket
I've been looking everywhere for a timing cover gasket and all I am finding are these sets that have the water pump gaskets and a few others included. I haven't been able to find an actual gasket that goes to the timing cover. When I took it off it didn't actually have a gasket either. It seemed like it just had gasket sealer all over it and in all the screw holes. There are grooves all along the timing cover where rubber stuff was filling it but I scraped all of that out when I cleaned it, most of it was torn up or missing anyway. So, how should I seal this back up? Just cover the thing with gasket sealer and call it a day?

Have you looked over on Rock Auto. Good selction of stuff there at good prices. Also all my new parts for my my most recent cam swap I got from a guy over on LS1tech. Name is Lamar, was stand up guy and didnt mind my 20k questions along the way. All new parts, he just buys in bulk, so some items may not be in original packaging. Phone # is 940-232-6844. Im an LS3 v-8, butcant hurt to ask if he may be able to help.
