Let me ask another way. My car's OEM software is out of date and I need to update it before I can get the tune from IPF. How do I get the OEM software updated? I am at the dealership right now and they say that they only update the software if there is a recall.

Just request a ECU reprogram, it takes less than 10 minutes, if there is no warranty code they will charge you 1 hr labor though... All they need is to plug in the MDI tool and select Tis2Web, SPS and reprogram the ECU. Simple. Any shop with an MDI tool can do it, I carry an MDI with me at all times and have flashed ECUS in about 5 minutes...

By the way, if anyone is thinking of getting this kit, it is worth every penny. Everything fits like OEM, the customer service after the sale is excellent, and the instructions are some of the best that I have seen.

Ok, so I have been running the supercharger for two days with no issues. This morning, when I started the car, it started sputtering and backfiring into the intake manifold. After letting it rest for an hour or so, it started to smooth out and run better. Anyone ever have this issue?

Had something similar a while back when I had the car parked for a week. Turned car off waited a few minutes and never came back. No CEL either.
