make sure you use good quality fuel, may want to check the spark plug gaps, since you have a recent install double check all the plumbing and make sure nothing came loose. i.e. boost pipes, intake tube, check the MAF connection and wring as well.

No. It is fine across all rpms. It was only doing this at idle. I think some water from the car wash may have gotten in the maf. I have had no issues since.

When doing the AFR gauge,is there anywhere in the stock V6 exhaust where both sides come together? And if not is it good enough to just read the AFR on one side of the engine?

Just one bank will be fine, if the banks are unbalanced enough a code will throw. I use 2 widebands but I have longtubes so I use it to check for leaks. Just make sure you have it before the cat.

Looking for more information, but I'm looking at 50,000 miles for a preventative rebuild on the Vortech Supercharger. Seeing that the cost is about $350 for a minor rebuild, but don't have the real cost yet. The minor rebuild replaces the bearing and seals, a major rebuild also replaces the gears.

Once I have concrete information I will add it to the FAQ. Turnaround time looks to be at least 2 weeks, so you will have to put the car back to stock possibly. Whoever reaches that mileage first can probably detail the procedure, but the 50k looks to be on the conservative side.

Now that I have had a chance to play around with it, I am noticing a hesitation right at 2k rpm. It just seems to lag for a second then pick right back up. Other than that, it feels great.

Currently at 30k on the SC unit. I have talked to the people at vortex and they were saying that unless the unit has significant race wear these units have shown little wear at 50k. I intend to have mine rebuilt at 50k.

At 2k RPM the boost isn't really there so you might be feeling the deadspot that the V6 naturally has. I solved mine with 3.91 gears, not recommended for a daily driver since your cruising RPM's are around 2400.

Thanks, when you do it and if you are still on the forum can you post the process of what you did? I think mine has 30k also but I rarely drive mine now. Mine will also require a major rebuild since I race mine a lot.

I will be around here well past the 50k rebuild. This winter is been so much snow I don't plan on using the car for awhile. I have been averaging around 20k per year recently.

Great, I'll put it in the FAQ what you do. The only problem some might have is the down time for sending the head unit in. They will have to convert their car back to NA configuration if they want to drive it. Probably would be a good time to remove the intercooler and clean it as well, but I don't know the full procedure for that.

50k mileage maintenance isn't bad for a high performance supercharger either.
