SS spoiler opinions thread
Alright, trying to create a poll with the following options on the SS spoiler
Love it, keep it as is Meh, it's ok...indifferent They can keep it on, but give us a spoiler delete option from the factory Would really love to see a lip spoiler instead Maybe someone can help out and edit this thread? Team Camaro has already shown they're still listening with some minor tweaks like badge placement. I love the car, HATE the spoiler and I think others feel the same. Let's see what you guys think and let the Camaro team know! |

I dont really see what all the fuss is about. I dont find it awkward, offensive, ghetto, ricer, huge, antique, or any of the other, not so flattering, terms Ive heard here. I do REALLY like the flush type(think LE1/Z06/Z51), but I by no means "hate" the new one. Then again, I LOVED 3rd and 4th Gen TAs. So I may be biased! Lol

I don't think the spoiler is completely terrible or even bad. After seeing it on a car in motion it looks nice.
I love the split design Anvil auto came up with: But I also like the current Z/28 design. But, I don't see that working out so well on the new back end.

I don't like it. I like the V6 spoiler better.

That's just it...if there is no spoiler delete option we will be forced to find/design spoilers that use the stock mounting points.
Perhaps it's too late in the game for a new spoiler, but at least give a delete option. I've seen a lot of other people comment on their dislike for the spoiler. |

I don't downright hate it, but it just looks a bit off to me. I wouldn't switch it for the V6 version, b/c frankly, the V6/T4 version isn't tall enough.
I want a taller dovetail like the aftermarket one on my 5th gen. That's what I will be waiting for.

I don't think it looks that bad. If it serves a legitimate function, even better.

Aftermarket manufacturers will make a killing on those who don't like the Honda spoiler on the '16 SS. Hopefully, GM will offer options because the factory spoiler looks like cheap foreign crap.

I dont personally care for the wheel options either, so I definitely think new wheels are going to be popular on the new GEN6's. I just hope that most of the ghetto crowd sticks with their "Donk'd-Out" GEN5's and leaves the new car to be done is a classy or aggressive manner. There are some tacky-ass looking GEN5's running around.

I REALLY don't like the SS spoiler. Especially when it has the three pillars it is hideous. You would think with how ugly it is they would at least make some comment about it being functional. The spoiler is one factor that has me actually thinking about v6
