MAF tuning takes a bit of work but, it’s worth it. Give your tuner a heads up...

It could be the location of the MAF sensor, being in a different location, will cause different air flow. The air might be tumbling, or depending on the R/D work, it might be flowing more smoothly in the particular intake. There are two types or air/water flow.... laminar and helical... Both are affected by the size and shape and texture of the flow container...

It could be due to the larger size of the intake.... Moving relatively the same volume of air through a larger body will affect the air flow sensor readings. The specific volume of air will be flowing slower. in a larger chamber and faster in a smaller chamber...

A good tuner will be able to maximize the potential for a given device... if possible...

Exactly, myself and another member (Mark — ABADZL1) can attest it takes effort for both cold and hot starts/run through the MAF MHz curve to get it smooth.

Here is all we changed (Mostly Mark):

I also run E85
