Also, the cool air is actually more dense, allowing for more oxygen molecules to enter your system thus increasing power. The cooler it is the closer the molecules are. With hotter things the molecules are more excited and are bouncing around colliding more and more spread out because of these collisions. Cold air is heavier than warm air.
Thanks--I had meant more dense, but I hadn't had enough caffeine that day Much appreciated. I will be looking into this mod. Anything I can do to squeeze a little more power out without heads/cam. This and a CAI scoop should bring me pretty close to ~430-435 at the wheels methinks.

Thanx for clearing it up axis. If I would've known bo was at the fest I would just bought it there. Anyways I put mine in last night and can tell a difference but I haven't really tested it out yet. Its real rainy over here. Hopefully we can get some sunshine in the next couple of days

I installed mine today and honestly don't feel any difference. Throttle response feels the same as it did with the stock TB. How has everyone else reviewed it so far?

The throttle response on both Bo's and Vmaxx comes from porting away the hump at the base of the TB. With it gone, air is allowed to come in sooner and unrestricted. That's mechanical, so it should be the same for pretty much all ported TB's.

Well I really tested the car out today. First impressions feels great at take off but then as the rpms go higher I don't feel it pulling hard like it used to. Other thing that I notice is when I'm in third at around 3500 rpm the car starts to hesitate the rpms go up and down by the hundreds. Is this normal? I did get a compliment on how good it sounds sucking air. Is it possible I need to retune? I have intake and kooks 1 7/8 Lt headers

it should not need a tune revision but you can log it and send it to JRE and let him look at it.

It shouldn't need a retune, but it depends on how close Ted put your tune. I know mine worked flawlessly with the GPI tune that I have. My AFR was 12.68 max, which is perfectly fine. Is your CAI tube tight? Just thinking out loud. You can also datalog it with the SCT to see what going on with the surging.

I also changed out my plugs with 41-110 ac delcos gapped at 40. Could that be the problem?

Shouldn't be, but it could be from one of the plug wires not being fully snapped on.
