Also, 1 car can have a rear end ratio of 3.91's with another at 3.42's and another at 3.23's or whatever and them all have the same EFFECTIVE gear ratio or the car with the numerically lower ratio have better gearing than the one with a higher ratio. For instance even thought the RT has a 3.09 it's overall effective gear ratio is better than the 1LE. Trans gearing, tire height AND rear end gear ratio will determine overall gearing. Not just what the rear end ratio is. So while yes 3.91's in the other 2 cars would make them faster with traction the 1LE effective gear ratio is only ever so slightly better than a normal SS. Plus saying put this or that in the other cars is just stupid and ignorant as well. That's like saying put a CAI and a set of LT headers into the SS to make the power the same as the RT and use the 6speed manual Trans RT for this test. In other words
