Very cool. Wonder what % of the car is stock Z/28?? Did you see it run on the track? What's the huge mechanism on the left that says "off"?

that doesn't look like a Z/28, not sure it ever was, look at the Brakes ?
why would someone remove the Carbon fiber brakes ?
Just my thoughts

the off switch is a direct kill to battery in case of crash...mandated both in and outside the car in most racing. I believe it is a z/28 because all the body parts. They had to remove the cc brakes as they are not legal and run 18" wheels.

...and there is a sticker "Z/28" on the rear. I think it's real...why would anyone buy all the small stuff if it wasn't. They finished 3rd in TA4 after 2 mustangs.

btw...many "gen6 looking cars" running in TA2 http://gotransam.com/multimedia/photos.cfm?gid=9439

Possibly a wrecked salvaged one, rescued and turned into a track monster?

Z/28 uses the same dash since they do not use the mylink touch screens.

I think he is referring to the middle vent design. Isn't it different?

Well, the dash is not a '14-'15 Z/28 piece because it does not have the suede insert. Not a Z until we can see some other proof. The body parts have not been impossible to obtain even a year ago.
