V6s discussion

Hey all, I love my v6. Why did you decide to go with the v6 opposed to the v8??

I got paid a lot less at the time and now I don't make enough to get rid of it and get a v8

I chose the LFX because of its advanced technology at the time. It still amazes me.

Old tech V8's don't excite me. That's all I had growing up. 90+% of the cars on the roads then were V8.s. Now the newer LT1 with DI looks interesting, but the gen6 body doesn't.

A V6 is what came with my used, but new to me, 2013 convertible and I have to say, I love it. I have had a lot of V8s in my past, including a 1968 427 tri-power Corvette. When I look back at the majority of the V8s I've had, my V6 has more horsepower than most, gets better mileage and is just as fun to drive. I still love the V8s but am completely enjoying my V6.

$$$. I had to get out of a problem car, and this was the only way to do it.

And I love my car.

I would too if I could run E85 and put down 316hp to the wheels:P This LLT is literally the most limiting motor I have ever come across in terms of aftermarket power and tuning. POS.

I kind of want to trade in my car as well.. Sanjay, I seen in your other post, you seriously got 28K? How much do you think I'd get. I'm almost at 15K miles, I really want a truck, or a used 15 SS/RS

A few months ago, just for fun, I went and they offered me 21, and I was like nooe. But man 28 is a awesome number lol

You think $21K is bad. Try the $14k the dealer offered for mine on a trade in. I'd rather drive it till I have the Flintstone it.

The LLT has had E85 tuning capabilities since 2011 if you look.
